After Birth, When Does The Back Pain Stop
Sam Said:
Severe back pain after birth and dealing with a family who thinks only breastfeeding is right? We Answered:
have her pump some milk before she goes to the doctor that way she can still feed the baby her milk without having it contaminated from the pills. she can freeze whatever she pumps up to two months i believe and it will be just as good as it was when she pumped it.if its really a problem she needs to go have it looked at, something serious may be going on that needs to be looked at and prolonging a doctor visit isn't a smart decision on her part.
if you think that her mom and grandmother can convince her to go then its worth a shot.
good luck and congratulations on the baby.

how does scoliosis change after you have a baby? Im in pain, please read, please help?We Answered:
My daughter has a massive double s curve. Besides exercise, the only thing that gives her relief is a chiropractor. They can move the bones that have gotten out pf place. Neither a Dr or Physical therapist is trained to do that.Ernest Said:
What do you do when the doctors cannot find reasons or explainations? We Answered:
I would find a doctor in your area or state that is the top in obstetrics like at a university hospital and go to that doctor. If I were you I would go until I got an answer. This is definatly not lochia (post natal bleeding) because this only last up to 6 weeks. It could be various different things when it goes longer for example secondary postpartum haemorrhage which is rare,If you have abnormally heavy bleeding where you are actively trickling blood from the vagina, with or without clots, (saturating a sanitary pad within an hour), call your doctor or midwife immediately. This could be a sign that a piece of the placenta was left inside the uterus or that the uterus isn't shrinking properly. If you're bleeding briskly and feeling faint, call an ambulance.I would go to another doctor and demand answers.

What is this pain in my lower abdomen? Ever since I gave birth it hasnt gone away!?We Answered:
I have a feeling that this is related to ligament/muscle problems - rather than actual reproduction/uterine problems. The ligaments that hold the uterus in place can be stretched or "sprained" with the weight of baby - or if you had extensive labor or "pushing" - I had ligaments on my right side strain(with a 9 1/2 lb baby) -and my uterus actually tipped sideways - it took laproscopic surgery to fix - but, it was so much better after recovery than it was for the 2 years I suffered! It will take a CT or MRI scan to find ligament damage - I the military can not provide the expertise - I think there is a way you can be seen by nonmilitary and they will pay for extenuating circumstances - You'll have to research and get papers approved -- So, if your current Dr. can not help - then try to see another OB/GYN --Gregory Said:
When did you stop feeling C-section incision pain? Did I overdo it in the early weeks of recovery? We Answered:
I had a c-section just a day later than you and have done well. I had some serious pain right after because I was home alone with the baby for the first two weeks and when I went to get my staples out, some had actually twisted because I was doing too much. However, now I'm not really feeling much pain except when I start my period - the cramps are a bit worse than they used to be. I did pull a muscle within the first month after my section because I picked up my two-year-old niece without thinking( I immediately sat her back down!!!).As for the "rip", it was probably a pulled muscle like mine. My doc said that the skin heals much quicker than the muscles and fascia inside due to more blood flow. The fascia and muscles take MONTHS to heal and if you do something to strain them, there is the possibility that you can rip the muscular sutures out. My doc said this wasn't a huge problem just a temporary setback in my healing process. Had you ruptured your uterus or damaged the sutures in your uterus, then you would be bleeding horribly and then doctors would most definitely be concerned.
If the pain keeps up, call your OB/GYN and demand some answers...More than likely, you just overdid it a little bit and sat yourself back in your healing. I recommend using a heating pad on the area...heat helps incisions heal.
Good luck and congrats on your new family addition!
